We started planning the station in March 2016...technical and programming issues were worked out and 3A Oldies 91.9 officially launched in March 2018. We now have a back-up transmitter AND back-up studio facilities, plus a full production suite!
Beginning March 1 we are now ID'ing as:
"3A Oldies 91.9, Chichester-Epsom-Pembroke." Our signal reaches parts of each of these towns and they ALL deserve recognition!
Effective March 1, 2019 3A Oldies 91.9 is now Tri-Town Radio. This better reflects our coverage of the 3 primary towns- Chichester, Epsom and Pembroke.
Necessary website adjustments have been made....Our name has changed, but our quality programming remains the same!!
PLEASE REMEMBER: Our Saturday Programming lineup features NPR News at the bottom of each hour (~ 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 AM ET).
NOTE: The NPR News on Saturday at ~ 12:30 and 1:30 PM ET will air at ~ 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM ET.....This move is to accommodate Johnny Maraca's Outlaws and Rebels Radio Show.
We are hard at work trying to get other "voices" to add to our air staff! Since we are a non-profit organization we are looking for volunteers to do some voice tracks for station promos, liners and PSAs. Our search will begin at the local elementary school -- and expand if needed!
Don't forget....... NPR's Jazz Night in America is part of our Sunday line-up!
This highly-acclaimed show features outstanding jazz artists performing at some of the country's premiere venues. Along with the great music, you'll learn about the artist(s) and gain some insight into the fantastic world of jazz!!
Tune in every Sunday at 12:00 PM ET for some of the BEST jazz around!!
HERE WE GROW.....AGAIN!!
Starting Saturday, October 5th at 12:00 PM ET.....Join us for Johnny Maraca's Outlaws and Rebels Radio Show!!
TWO HOURS of country blended with southern rock and rockabilly......The "bad boys" and "bad girls".....with stories about the artists and songs!!
3A Oldies 91.9 is PROUD to be the SECOND station in the USA (....so far.....!) to pick up Johnny's Show! We're glad to have "sealed" the market.....and send KUDOS to Johnny and wish him the BEST OF LUCK with "Outlaws and Rebels"!!
Beginning Saturday, January 4, 2020 ...... 3A Oldies 91.9 will add '70s music to our library!!
The GREATEST HITS of the '70s will be blended with the Best of the '50s and '60s!! Our '70s library alone has more than 500 tracks....and continues to GROW!!
We realize our demographic is changing.....so we're changing to satisfy the music taste of our listeners!!
Because of the "social distancing" issue in light of the COVID-19 situation......NPR's "Jazz Night In America" has had to suspend its concerts at Lincoln Center until further notice.....This means there will be NO NEW PROGRAMS produced.
3A Oldies 91.9 has archived nearly three years of shows, and will be presenting these over the coming weeks -- until the Coronavirus pandemic eases and concerts resume.
Thanks for your understanding ---and, in the meantime, ENJOY some of your favorite "reruns" of "Jazz Night In America". aired Sundays at 12 noon ET!!
